Overview

The RBT Series offers increased performance in a compact package. Assembled in the USA, these thin clients weigh less than 1 lb allowing you flexible mounting options and lower shipping costs. And the robust and fan-less construction allows for quiet and reliable operation.

The high speed AMD Geode? GX 533 processor provides users with exceptional performance and low power consumption within a small footprint.

The RBT-320 allows for switching between a PC-like desktop mode and the standard Windows based terminal mode for a more versatile operating environment.

Typically CE-based Thin Clients support only full-screen applications, but the RBT-320 allows management of multiple browser windows within a single browser instance. As a result, pop-up windows work as expected. This capability, alongside unique 5250 split screen support (a first for CE.Net implementations), provides users with more flexibility and increased productivity.

The RBT-320 supports two modes of operation:

WBT Mode - Windows Based Terminal mode, where the terminal behaves like a CE.NET device with full screen applications, optional GUI 5250/3270, Terminal Server access, Citrix or Tarantella which auto start and auto-reconnect

Desktop Mode - Windows 2000 type user interface provides access to all applications in a windowing environment including GUI 5250 / 3270 with up to four emulation sessions.

Full-Featured 122-key Keyboard

The BOS?OVA RBT-320 Rabbit includes support for a full-featured 122-key keyboard*, enabling efficient work with host applications, whether they be Windows Terminal Server, or 5250/3270 terminal sessions.

Because the BOS?OVA 122-key keyboard is driverless, it functions seamlessly with any PC, as well as with a thin client. Therefore, for customers with a mixed PC and thin client environment, the BOS?OVA 122-key keyboard is the ideal keyboard investment.

Windows and iSeries / zSeries software environments.
