The best laser scanner with Caere's Easy-Scanner(TM) Advanced Data Editing and wedge interfacing built into the handle. The 1731's laser scans from contact to 40 inches and the unit decodes in 1/10th of a second. Very aggressive device.

A hand held laser scanner designed to scan bar codes which builds on the impressive legacy of its big brother, the Model 1731 Integrated Laser/Wedge Embedded the decoder/wedge intelligence from Caere's high-end bar code decoder, the Model 2033, into the Model 1760's handle. This eliminates the need to buy extra boxes and cables. The Model 1760 is the only integrated laser of its class to offer not only keyboard wedge and RS-232 interfacing, but also Caere's Advanced Data Editing.
