Overview

The BOSaNOVA LTC1000 represents a giant step forward in Intelligent Thin Client computing. The hardware on this unit has a 1GHz CPU with an 84X AGP video adapter, providing the highest possible performing video output – essential in Server Centric computing with Citrix and Windows Terminal Server.

A DVI output (digital video) has been included for optimized use with today’s Flat Panel monitors.

With built-in Web Browser, Terminal Emulation, e-mail client, and the option of OpenOffice (Microsoft Office compatible)   all embedded on the Thin Client, the user can enjoy the full benefit of  a desktop computer with the security and stability of a Thin Client. This allows connectivity without the requirement for Terminal Server or Citrix.

The enterprise can realize substantial savings because drastically reduced licensing fees.

The built-in PCI and PCMCIA expansion slots provide immediate access to wireless networks with either Cisco Aironet or Belkin wireless cards.

The versatility of this unit includes a PCMCIA  wireless slot for Cisco or Belkin PCMCIA 802.11b cards allowing for easy deployment without the need for any hardwiring to the desktop or Thin Client location.

 

Enterprise Class Remote Administration

The BOSaNOVA LTC1000 Thin Client is simple to configure either locally or remotely using the BOSaNOVA Manager, which enables the following tasks:

Terminal Emulation

The BOSâNOVA LTC Series includes embedded TN5250 and TN3270 based terminal emulation software for up to five sessions in connection to IBM iSeries (AS/400) and zSeries (S/390) systems, employing the best fonts in the industry. Both models also support Telnet with SSH, VT100, and Wyse 60 emulations.

 

Full-Featured 122-key Keyboard


The BOSâNOVA LTC Series includes support for a full-featured 122-key keyboard*, enabling efficient work with host applications, whether they be Windows Terminal Server or iSeries resident.
Because the BOSâNOVA 122-key keyboard is driverless, it functions seamlessly with any PC, as well as with a thin client. Therefore, for customers with a mixed PC and thin client environment, the BOSâNOVA 122-key keyboard is the ideal keyboard investment.

The 122-key keyboard available with the BOSâNOVA LTC-400 works perfectly in both Windows and iSeries software environments.
