Overview

ET4500t - An adaptable, high-performance terminal includes cost-effective, easy-to-use and highly reliable, stable and secure Mandrake Linux embedded operating system with advanced and efficient hardware detection capabilities. RDP and Citrix ICA protocol provide access Windows applications when using Windows Terminal Services or Citrix.

Multiple terminal emulations let the ET4500x access mainframe, midrange, UNIX, and other legacy applications. Also included is X Window System for graphical UNIX applications.

The Firefox browser provides access to Web-based applications. With Sun Java Virtual Machine (JVM); POSIX compliance, and support for many third-party device drivers rapid creation, integration and porting of local applications, the ET4500t can actually replace PCs in numerous applications.

The ET4500t is a versatile member of the Computer Lab International (CLI) "Next Generation" Family of Thin Client Terminals.

Centrally controlled, and managed by network administrators with the SNMP Administrator Management Software, the ET4500x offers increased management efficiency as well as cost effective operation all with minimum bandwidth utilization and impressive speed.

Models based on the Windows XP Embedded operating system (ET4500x) and the Windows CE.NET operating system (ET4500g) are available in the same form factor.
